17 Cleaning and Disinfection
The accessories of the defibrillator can be cleaned with common non-corrosive disinfectants
and detergents, and the following are suitable detergents:
• 90 % opropyl (except adapter, patient cable and Wi-Fi Data COMM card)
• Soapy water
• Chlorine bleach (30ml/l aqueous solution, except for SYNC IN/MARKER OUT connector
and battery compartment)
It is recommended that the defibrillator, defibrillator handle, defibrillator paddles and cables
be cleaned and disinfected using wet soft wipes and the recommended solvents. Use only wet
soft wipes for cleaning the printer.
It is strictly forbidden to immerse any part of the defibrillator (including accessories) in liquid.
The use of ketone solvents (acetone or MEK) is strictly prohibited.
Do not sterilize the defibrillator. Avoid wiping the display window with rough objects
(including paper towels).
Special attention should be paid to cleaning the defibrillation handle after each use. The
conductive paste accumulated on the defibrillation handle may interfere with the ECG monitoring
signal and may cause the operator to receive an accidental electric shock.
