13 Recording Settings
13.1 Recorder
i6 uses a thermal array recorder. Patient information, measurement data, review data, and
up to 3 waveforms can be produced through the recorder.
13.2 Recording Type
Recordings can be categorized according to the way they were triggered:
1. Manually initiate the real-time waveform recording output.
2. Trigger events.
3. Alarms triggered by parameter over-range or arrhythmias, etc.
4. A manually initiated recording related to a specific function
Recordings related to a specific function can be categorized as:
1. Frozen waveform recordings
2. Trends table recordings
3. Mark event recordings
4. Parameter alarm event recordings
5. Event review recordings
6. Shock event recordings
7. Automatic test report recordings
8. System configuration recordings
9. Please refer to the corresponding sections in this manual for details of recordings
related to a specific function.
13.3 Recorder Use
You can manually initiate a recording in the following ways:
Select the button on the recorder panel to start real-time recording.
Select the [Record] button on the current menu or window to start a recording related
to a specific function.
When the recording is complete, two lines of "*" will be printed at the end of the
recording report to mark the end of the recording report.
The recorder will automatically start recording on the following occasions:
When both [Alarm Switch] and [Alarm Record] of a parameter are set to [On], the
parameter will trigger the defibrillator monitor to initiate an alarm recording once an alarm
occurs.
