19 Alarms
Alarm function refers to the devices’ system or the patient's vital signs that appear abnormal
changes, the device reminds the staff to be more alert with sound, light, and text. The alarms are
designed to improve patient safety by drawing attention from healthcare staff to values
exceeding the preset normal level.
The maximum delay time of alarm status is 5s, and the maximum delay time of alarm signal
is 2s.
Caution:
• In any individual area (e.g., intensive care unit or cardiac operating room), identical or
similar devices using different alarm presets pose a potential hazard.
• When the alarm system is powered off, the Defibrillator Monitor will save the alarm
before the power is off. The stored alarm information does not change with the shutdown time.
19.1 Alarm Information and Prompts
Refers to the alarm triggered by improper operation of the user or
system failure.
Refers to the alarm triggered due to a patient's vital parameters
exceeding a preset range or a physiological abnormality has
occurred.
The patient is in a critical condition and is in urgent need to be
resuscitated.
Serious device failure or improper operation;
Abnormalities have occured in the patient's vital signs.
Device failure or improper operation, affecting the normal
monitoring of physiological parameters and patient resuscitation;
Abnormalities have occured in the patient's vital signs.
Device failure or incorrect operation may prevent certain
monitoring functions from functioning properly
It is categorized into red (high alarm) and yellow (medium alarm
and low alarm)
High alarm: Red, with a blinking frequency of 1.4 Hz-2.8 Hz.
