2. Select [Treatment Entry Mode] and select "Direct," "Password" and "Confirm".
If [Direct] is set, when manual defibrillation mode is selected, the manual defibrillation
mode is directly entered.
If set to [Password], when manual defibrillation mode is selected, the Defibrillator
Monitor will pop up in the password input menu. The user can enter the manual defibrillation
mode only after the correct password is entered and confirm pressed.
If set to [Confirm], when manual defibrillation mode is selected, the Defibrillator
Monitor will pop up in the confirmation menu. The user needs to click OK before entering the
manual defibrillation mode.
3. If you select "Password" as the entry method, then, you can set the manual
defibrillation password.
4. Set [Automatic defibrillation disarm time] and "30, 60, 90, and 120" can be set.
5. Set [Synchronizationswitch], which can be set to "On" or "Off".
6. Set [Defibrillation Contact Impedance Indicator], which can be set to "On" or "Off".
7. Once set up, exit the settings screen, and the Defibrillator Monitor will automatically
update to the latest settings.
5.4Manual Defibrillation Steps
5.1.1 External Defibrillation
1. Undo the patient's clothing, cut, or remove excessive chest hair and wipe the chest
clean if necessary.
2. Select the appropriate, plug it into the therapy port of the defibrillator monitor, and
insert it firmly until it clicks into place.
3. Placing the multi-function pads or paddles:
Use multi-function pads: attach the multi-function pads to the patient as instructed on
the pads package. Use position anterior-anterior or anterior-posterior.
Using the paddles: hold the paddle handle with both hands and pull the paddles
straight up and out of the paddle holder. After applying conductive paste to the paddles, place
them on the patient in the anterior-anterior position.
