8.3 Mainstream CO

Module
Caution:
The mainstream CO
2
module is only applicable to patients undergoing mechanical
ventilation (tracheal intubation).
Zeroing is required for the first use, and the zeroing time is about 15~20s.
The mainstream CO
2
module uses a disposable gas path adapter and cannot be
re-sterilized for reuse.
When the CO2 module is working properly, the battery power needs to be kept at
above 1300mAh.
Avoid collision and vibration of the CO
2
module.

Monitoring Settings
Set the CO
2
monitoring information as follows:
1. Press the knob to bring up the [Menu] interface and select [General Configuration] -
[CO
2
settings]. The CO
2
settings screen is shown in the following figure:

2. Select [CO
2
Waveform Speed] to set the waveform speed to "6.25," "12.5" and "25.0."
The larger the value, the faster the scan speed and the wider the waveform.
3. Once set up, exit the settings screen, and the Defibrillator Monitor will automatically
update to the latest settings.
