• If the pad is used, press the shock button (flashing) on the device panel to deliver a
shock to the patient.
• If external paddles are used: Press the shock button on both paddles at the same time
to deliver a shock to the patient.
Caution:
• Defibrillation is typically performed by paddles or multi-function pads. During
defibrillation, the ECG lead can be selected for ECG monitoring. If the ECG lead is connected, any
available lead can be displayed.
• The recommended energy value for defibrillation in adult patients is 200J.
• When defibrillation is performed on children under 8 years old, it is recommended to
use pediatric pads. When there are no pediatric pads, use the adult pads and set the disease type
to [child].
5.1.2 Internal Defibrillation
If you need to use an internal defibrillation shock pad, please follow these steps:
1. Open the i6 Defibrillator Monitor and select the manual defibrillation mode.
2. Select the appropriate paddles according to the patient's condition. Insert the paddle
cable into the therapy port of the Defibrillator Monitor and firmly insert it until it is in place.
3. Select energy value.
4. Hold the pad handle and place the internal defibrillation pads in the right atrium and
the left ventricle. As shown in the figure below.

6. Make sure that no one is in contact with the patient and that there are no accessories
