Spark-Out/SparkArrest

Setup, Relay 2
(900E Only) – F 39
F 39 allows you to set up Relay 2 to control the Spark-Out time and SparkArrest
TM
limit.
NOTE: For proper operation of the EDM functions, you must enter Target Z-Depth and
Spark-Out time using Entering Target Z-depth and Spark-Out time – F 37.
NOTE: Refer to the instructions provided by the EDM machine builder for the
appropriate setup parameters.
To set up Relay 2:
1. Press to select the feature.
The DRO displays one of the following in the message window:
Rela
2 off
Rela
2 on
2. Press
+
_
to toggle Relay 2 ON and
set the feature.
NOTE: Spark-Out and SparkArrest
TM
are activated only if Relay 2 is ON.
The DRO displays the following in the message window:
S--arrest
The Z-axis begins to blink prompting for a value.
