CAUTION: During the following step, do not change the machine axis travel direction.
This will cause an error.
3. Move each machine axis approximately 1 in. (25.4 mm) in one direction until the RIs
stop blinking and the display starts to count.
4. Move each machine axis to the part zero position.
5. Press
This will be the absolute part zero position.

The DRO displays the following in the message window:

7. Press
The RI turns off and the DRO stores the absolute part zero position.
8. Continue with normal operations.
