Descriptions of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)
Main Display: Frequency, memory name, set mode name or the other various
conditions are displayed.
1: When the frequency is 1000
or more in the VFO mode,
this segment is appeared.
.: Decimal point
75 50 25: When 6.25 and 12.5 kHz
step is set, one of these
segments is appeared.
WFM, FM, AM : Selected reception mode is
appeared in the VFO mode.
: Signal mater
ATT: When the attenuator is set,
this segment is appeared.
: When the battery save
is set, this segment is
appeared.
: When the key lock is set,
this segment is appeared.
: When the batteries are
consumed, this segment is
appeared.
B: When the Busy scan is
progressed, this segment is
appeared.
S: When Set mode is selected,
this segment is appeared.
PW: When the Priority watch is
progressed, this segment is
appeared.
DW: When the 2VFO watch
progressed, this segment is
appeared.
DCS: When Digital Code squelch
is set, this segment is
appeared.
—: Repeater minus
TSQ: When Tone Squelch is set,
this segment is appeared.
: When Scrambler function
is set, this segment is
appeared. (Not available for
US domestic version)
: When the off timer or alarm
is set, this segment is
appeared.
: When the skipped frequency
is set for Search, this
segment is appeared.
