Fault indication: OFF (auxiliary DC supply is not present at the rear panel AUX OUT terminals or the AUX OUT fuse is blown)

Operational fault symptom:
No operational failure, or possible failure of the item being powered from the faulty mainframe auxiliary DC output.
Suggested actions:
1. Check AUX OUT fuse; see Section “8.13.1 AC Mains Supply / Battery Supply / Auxiliary DC Supply Output Fuses” (page 111).
2. Replace iPAM400 mainframe; see Section “8.11 iPAM400 Mainframe Replacement” (page 108).
ethernet
Fault indication:
OFF (Ethernet connection is not operational)
Operational fault symptom:
Loss of audio broadcast across the network.
Suggested actions:
1. Check network connections.
2. Check processor LED.

Fault indication:
• Steady ON or OFF: Controller and Amplifier Motherboard are not operational
• Fast flashing

: Controller is not operational
Operational fault symptom:
Loss of all loudspeaker circuit functionality on entire mainframe.
Suggested actions:
1. Reboot the iPAM400.
2. Replace iPAM400 mainframe; see Section “8.11 iPAM400 Mainframe Replacement” (page 108).

Fault indication (if NTP Network Timing Protocol synchronisation is required):
OFF (no NTP synchronisation)
Operational fault symptom: DVA broadcast across the network is not synchronised.
Suggested actions:
1. Check NTP configuration.
2. Check Ethernet connection.
3. Check provider of NTP server

The mainframe fault will also illuminate if the DIP SW4 is set to ON enabling the fault reporting.

For iPAM400 with amplifier frame firmware version older than V1.1.0206 slow flashing indicates that the controller is not operational.
