Mainframe Indicators
Indicator Indication

Fault indication:
ON (fault diagnosed in the iPAM400, amplifiers, or any attached microphones)
Operational fault symptom:
see Table 5 (page 95).
Suggested actions:
1. Check mainframe mains and battery LEDs.
2. Check amplifier modules’ supply and fault LEDs; see Table 3 (page 94).
3. Perform applicable suggested described Table 5 (page 95).
4. If the iPAM400 application is still running, then reset the iPAM400

application.
Else reboot the iPAM400

5. Replace iPAM400 mainframe; see Section “8.11 iPAM400 Mainframe Replacement” (page 108).

1) All LEDs are turned on and off in sequence and uninterruptedly to indicate that a memory fault has been detected and the mainframe needs replacing.
2) All LEDs are turned on and off in unison to indicate that either of the following occurred:
• The Amplifier Mainframe configuration has been cleared.
• A mainframe firmware download has failed.

In order to reset the iPAM400 application:
1. Remove the front panel; see Section “8.1 Removing the Front Panel” (page 99).
2. Briefly press the Reset/Shut Down button to shut the iPAM400 down.
3. Briefly press the Reset/Shut Down button again to start the iPAM400 up.
4. Re-fit the front panel; see Section “8.6 Fitting the Front Panel” (page 104).

In order to reboot the iPAM400:
1. Remove the front panel; see Section “8.1 Removing the Front Panel” (page 99).
2. Power cycle the iPAM400 by switching off the mainframe AC mains and battery isolation switches; see Sections “8.2 Powering the Mainframe Off” (page 100) and ; “8.5 Powering the Mainframe
On” (page 103).
3. Re-fit the front panel; see Section “8.6 Fitting the Front Panel” (page 104).
