8. On the lower part of the Active protocol parameters section, click Save.
To load a protocol, do the following:
1. In the Device Files area, browse Connections. Then double-click Protocol.
2. In the Active Protocol section of the Protocols Management dialog box, click Load to see the
available Protocols in Available Protocols section.
3. In the Available Protocol section, select a protocol from the Protocol name column. The
Protocol Version and Compatible basic version columns are populated.
4. Near the Protocol version of the protocol to load, select the check box.
5. In the lower part of the Available Protocol section, click Install.
6. Turn off and then turn on the Focus 61.
To export a protocol, do the following:
1. In the Device Files area, browse Connections. Then double-click Protocol.
2. In the Available Protocol section of the Protocols Management dialog box, load a protocol.
3. In the Active Protocol section of the Protocols Management dialog box, click Export.
4. In the Find folder window, select the destination folder.
5. In the Protocol management Export window, click OK. Then the files are saved in the selected
destination folder.
NOTE: Two file are created: one for the Active protocol parameters and one for the
Basic protocol parameters.
To import a protocol, do the following:
1. In the Device Files area, browse Connections. Then double-click Protocol.
2. In the Available Protocol section of the Protocols Management dialog box, load a protocol.
3. In the Active Protocol section of the Protocols Management dialog box, click Import.
4. In the Select a protocol destination file window, select the file to import.
Only one file per time can be imported.
NOTE: It is possible to import only the Active protocol parameters file. For the Basic
protocol parameters, it is necessary to import both Active protocol parameters and Basic
protocol parameters.
5. In the Protocol management window, click:
Yes to import event the second file. Then in the Select a protocol destination file
window, select the file to import.
No, to import only the selected file.
6. In the Protocol management window, click OK
