6.5 Daily maintenance
6.5.1 Cleaning the machine at the end of each work shift
STEP ACTION DESCRIPTION

Remove
chips
• Remove all chips and other machining scraps. Remove chips using a
suitable industrial vacuum.

Clean the
machine
• Do not clean the machine using compressed air as the machining chips
may penetrate between the movement gears compromising machine
operation.
When cleaning the machine, wear the following PPE:

Clean the

components
Clean the machine components thoroughly, removing all grease and dirt
deposits.

INFORMATION!
• Risk of damage to the machine.
Do not use compressed air to clean the machine. The jet of air may push chips
and dust inside the dust guards.
Use an industrial vacuum to clean the machine.
