Troubleshooting
Situation Solution
Onediskfailed(redLED)+RAID degra ded.
The ongoing event is not interrupted.
Note: The disk status (RAID degraded) can be retrieved via the
(Web) Commander. See user guide of the (Web) Commander.
Hot swap the defect HDD with an original HDD spare part. No
need to switch off the power. Ensure to inser t the HDD firm ly.
See procedure "Installing a HDD into the ICMP", page 118.

Multiple disks failed (mu ltiple red LEDs) + RAID broken.
Note: The disk status (RAID broken) can be retrieved via the
(Web) Commander. See user guide of the (Web) Commander.
1. Switch off the power.
2. Replace all defect HDDs with o riginal HDD spare parts.
See procedure "Removing a HDD form the ICMP", page
117, and "Installing a HDD into the ICMP", pa

Ensure to insert the HDDs firm ly.
3. Switch on the power.
4. Start “RAID Initialize”. S ee user g uide of the
Communicator.
Result: a new empty RAID is c reated.
All HDD LEDs rem ain off + Error 10580 “local storage not
