Oil pressure sensor
If the engine oil pressure is not within the specified range, check the parts of the lubrication circuit
and make the necessary repair.
If the oil pressure is not within the specified range and the engine oil pressure warning light stay off
turn on the dashboard (main switch position ON) without starting the engine, disconnect the
electrical terminal from the oil pressure sensor and connect it to ground. If the warning light now
illuminates this means that the sensor is not working (it must be replaced).
If the warning light fails to illuminate, use a multimeter to check for the electrical continuity of the
section of the circuit between sensor and warning light on the instrument panel (this check must be
performed with the ignition key set to OFF, i.e. with instrument panel off).
