clear logging
Use the clear logging privileged EXEC command on the switch stack or on a standalone switch to clear
all of the on-board failure logging (OBFL) data except for the uptime and CLI-command information
stored in the flash memory.
clear logging onboard
Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults No default is defined.

Usage Guidelines We recommend that you keep OBFL enabled and do not erase the data stored in the flash memory.
Examples This example shows how to clear all the OBFL information except for the uptime and CLI-command
information:
Switch# clear logging onboard
Clear logging onboard buffer [confirm]
You can verify that the information was deleted by entering the show logging onboard privileged EXEC
command.
