To set the lower-limit and upper-limit values, use the threshold command in IP SLA reaction condition
configuration mode. To use the default value, use the no form of this command.
threshold lower-limit value upper-limit value
no threshold lower-limit value upper-limit value
Syntax Description
Specifies the threshold lower-limit value. Range is 1 to 4294967295 ms.
Default lower-limit value is 3000 ms.
lower-limit value
Specifies the threshold upper-limit value. Range is 5000 to 4294967295 ms.
Default upper-limit value is 5000 ms.
upper-limit value

The following example shows how to set the lower-limit and upper-limit values for the react command with
the jitter-average keyword for the threshold command:

RP/0/0/CPU0:router(config)# ipsla
RP/0/0/CPU0:router(config-ipsla)# reaction operation 432
RP/0/0/CPU0:router(config-ipsla-react)# react jitter-average
