Table B–2 TIG/SROM Jumper Descriptions
Jumper Description
J21 1–2: Load TIG from flash RAM (default)
2–3: Load TIG from serial ROM. This setting allows you to load
the TIG if the flash RAM is corrupted.
J20 Must be in default positions over pins 1 and 2 to enable FSL.
FIR_FUNC2 (bit 2)
1–2 = 0, 2–3 = 1

Jumper for enabling fail-safe loader (FSL)
FIR_FUNC1 (bit 1)
1–2= 0, 2–3= 1
J23 Must be in default positions over pins 1 and 2 to enable FSL.

001 Prevent flash loads. Load from SROM.
010 Load from floppy
111 Lock console. Prevents the writing of flash from CPUs.
