3 Press the 4-way button left or right to select the image to be
protected.

[SET], then press the OK button E.
The [U] icon appears on protected images.

Unprotecting an image
1 Press the MENU button K during playback to display the
menu icons.
2 Press the 4-way button up or down to
select PROTECT [U] and press the OK
button E.
3 Press the 4-way button left or right to select the image to be
unprotected.
The [U] icon is displayed with protected images.
4 Press the 4-way button up to select
[EXECUTE], then press the OK button
E.
The image protection is removed.
5 Press the MENU button K.

To protect another image, repeat steps 3
and 4.
A Important
[ERASE ALL] (Æ p.103) does not erase protected images. However, [FORMAT]
(Æ p.161
) erases all of the images on the card, including protected images.
