Manuale Lyra 600 sx elettr eng
4 fixed guards for the longitudinal sealing group (1-2-3-4 fig. 2.6.1.1B), enclose
the front and upper side of the sealing group to protect the drive and sealing wheels.
The guards are made of stainless steel and are fixed with screws to the machine
structure. The front guards (3-4 fig. 2.6.1.1B) do not remain in place once the
screws are removed. The resistance of the guards is adequate to resist the normal
strains during machine runs, cleaning, maintenance and the eventual bumps the
operator may cause.
1 movable guard for the longitudinal sealing group (5 fig. 2.6.1.1B), consisting of a
tunnel in transparent plastic material that protects the zone of the longitudinal
sealing group. The guard is connected to the machine through two horizontal axes
hinges located on the rear side and opens with a rotary movement towards the rear
of the machine. The intra-locking of the guard is achieved through a safety switch (6
fig. 2.6.1.1B), connected to a hinge and linked to the safety module inside the
electric panel. Opening the guard will trigger the safety module which will provoke
the machine’s stop. This type of arrest will provoke the loss of the packaging cycle
underway, which will have to be restarted from the start: therefore you will have to
remove the products blocked inside the sealing groups, reinsert the film, re-close the
guard and press the <RESET> button (7 fig. 2.6.1.1B) on the control panel. With the
selector key <EXCLUSION GUARDS - ON/OFF> (8 fig. 2.6.1.1B) positioning it to
<OFF> (right), you may open the moveable guard and let the machine run in low
speed in <IMPULSE> mode.
ATTENTION
The <IMPULSE> mode may be used only by qualified and trained personnel
(mechanical maintenance technician) for machine preparation interventions
including film insertion.
