6 fixed guards for the transversal seal/cut group (1:6 fig. 2.6.1.1D), enclose the
sides and the upper, front, and lower sides of the sealing group to protect the sealing
clamps. The guards are made of stainless steel, except for the upper guard (1 fig.
2.6.1.1D) which is made of transparent plastic material. All the guards are fixed with
screws onto the machine structure; some guards do not remain in place once the
screws are removed. The resistance of the guards is adequate to resist normal
functioning strains, or due to cleaning, maintenance, and other eventual bumps
caused by the operator.
