4 fixed guards for the outfeed conveyor (1:4 fig. 2.6.1.1E), enclose the rear and
lower sides of the outfeed conveyor to protect the internal transmission. The guards
are made of stainless steel and are fixed with screws onto the machine structure. The
guards do not remain in place once the screws are removed. The resistance of the
guards is adequate to resist normal functioning strains, or due to cleaning,
maintenance, and other eventual bumps caused by the operator.
1 moveable guard for the outfeed conveyor (5 fig. 2.6.1.1E), consisting in a
transparent plastic tunnel set to protect the product outfeed conveyor. The guard is
joined to the conveyor profiles through two horizontal axes hinges placed on the rear
end and opens with a rotary movement towards the rear of the machine. The intra-
locking of the guard is obtained through a safety switch (6 fig. 2.6.1.1E), associated
to a hinge and connected to the safety switch situated in the safety module, which
triggers the arrest of the machine. The opening of the guard will trigger the safety
module that provokes the machine’s arrest. This type of arrest implies the loss of the
packaging cycle underway, and will have to be activated from the start: meaning that
the products blocked inside the sealing group will have to be removed, the film
reinserted, the guard closed and by pressing the This type of arrest implies the loss of
the packaging cycle underway, and will have to be activated from the start: meaning
that the products blocked inside the sealing group will have to be removed, the film
reinserted, the guard closed and by pressing the <RESET> button (7 fig. 2.6.1.1E) on
the control panel. With the selector key <EXCLUSION GUARDS - ON/OFF> on the
control panel. With the selector key <EXCLUSION GUARDS - ON/OFF> (8 fig.
2.6.1.1E) turned to <OFF>, you may open the moveable guard and let the machine
run at low speed in the <IMPULSE> mode.
ATTENTION
The <IMPULSE> mode may be used only by qualified and trained personnel
(mechanical maintenance technician) for machine preparation interventions
including film insertion.
