Make sure that the handling area is clear by placing appropriate signs; in case of poor
visibility during handling operations, it is recommended to have another operator direct the
manoeuvres towards the installation site and always keep the machine as close as possible
to the ground.
When performing the handling operations, make sure that there are no objects along the
route or bumps in the flooring as this could cause accidents with consequential damage to
objects or injuries to people.
Once the machine has been positioned, remove the hoist rod by removing the screws in
pos. 1 fig. 4.1.2.
Close the prearranged holes on the structure with the provided plugs 1 fig. 4.1.5.

The machine must be positioned on a solid, compact floor which ensures a perfect support
for the machine feet. Use a precision level to straighten the infeed conveyor, first
lengthways and then crosswise in order to position it perfectly level. To level the infeed
conveyor adjust the machine feet (pos.2 Fig. 4.1.6), to adjust the feet loosen the counter
nut (pos.1 Fig. 4.1.6). Once the operation has been completed remember to fasten the
counter nuts.
