Problems with the Print Go Signal
• The most common print signal related issue on the SmartDate X40 is error 1207,
‘Multiple Missed prints’
• This error often occurs when using a ‘noisy’ mechanical relay to provide the print
signal
• The ideal solution is to replace the mechanical relay with a solid state type device
or an opto-isolated component (optocoupler)
• Where this is not possible, use the Debounce parameter to compensate
Debounce Time
• This is an Intermittent Printer
setting.
• This is the time that the PRINT
GO signal must be present
before it is accepted
• Set the Debounce Time long
enough to stop the Printer
from seeing the false print
trigger
