Calibration Failed Ribbon Sensor Failed (Fault 1105)
Possible Cause Action Notes
1 Ribbon
Ö
Check that the ribbon path is
correct and the Controller is
configured
Ö
Outside wound ribbons cannot be used.
The ribbon may have broken or been incorrectly
fitted e.g. path wrong and/or supply / waste the
wrong way round)

2 Cassette
Ö
Check the handing is correct
Check the Ribbon Control
Sensor Slide moves freely
Check the Ribbon Core is not
slipping.
Try a known working Cassette
Ö
Ribbon Core slipping – check the spools do not
move within the ribbon core
With Printer removed from host machine remove
the Side Cover and check Movement Roller rotates
freely and the magnet does not contact the Hall
Effect Housing.
