Restore to Factory Defaults
In rare instances, it is possible for the internal job database within the Controller to become
corrupt. When this occurs the Controller will display the fault message ‘1400 – Corrupt File
System’. If this error occurs, the only way to recover the Printer is to restore the factory
default settings.
The factory defaults can be restored using the following steps:
It is also possible to use the Restore to Factory Defaults as a way of retuning the Printer to
a set of known working parameters. This is sometimes helpful during the fault elimination
process.
