Pre-Installation Form
The pre-installation form is to make sure that before installation:
• The sales team records the customer requirements and equipment details prior to
sale
• The field service engineer has the required information for the installation
• The customer’s expectations are met
There are 6 sections to the form:
• Section 1 is for recording general information about the customer, Markem-Imaje
sales and service contacts, and intended equipment to supply
• Section 2 records the customer’s environment, application details and equipment
selection
• Section 3 relates to package and packaging details
• Section 4 relates to consumables
• Section 5 deals with the customer’s images
o Example label designs
o Types of printed fields
o Label design program
o Package handling before and after printing
o Other information
• Section 6 is for detailing the customer’s future training needs
