Overview
The SmartDate X40 Controller diagnostics Page has a number of tools that are useful for
monitoring the system whilst in producing.
The Supplies Screen
The supplies monitoring screen can be accessed from the home screen by pressing
supplies, or from the diagnostics menu and provides the following information
• Ribbon Remaining
o This figure shows the % amount of
ribbon left on the supply reel
o The value is updated approximately
every 100 prints
• Remaining Prints
o This is the number of prints that can
be completed using the remaining
ribbon
o This figure assumes the current job,
settings and rate of production are
constant
