Event Log
The SmartDate X40 is able to record all Printer configuration changes, job updates and
faults/warnings to an internal file known as an Event Log. All entries in the log are time
stamped.
The Event Log file is created in xml format and is stored in the internal memory of the
Printer Controller. This file is useful when trying to identify a specific fault with an
application.
Uploading the Event Log via USB
Insert a USB Flash Drive into the
Controller USB Connector.
Navigate to ‘Copy Logs to USB’
Once the ‘Copy Logs to USB’ key has been pressed, the Controller will transfer
the log files to the USB Flash Drive
