Check that the ribbon path is
correct and the Controller is
configured
Ö
The ribbon may have broken or been incorrectly
fitted e.g. path wrong and/or supply / waste the
wrong way round
Outside wound ribbon can not be used

Check the Ribbon Core is not
slipping.

Replace the Ribbon Control
Sensor.

Observe the output of the Ribbon Control Sensor
in the Engineering/Diagnostics/Internal Menu. Use
a finger to apply pressure to the sensor and
observe the reading change.
