1 Wireless
Ö
If using a wired connection make
sure the wireless option on the
external device is disabled
2 Configuration

Check that the IP Address, etc. is
configured correctly

Both the SmartDate X40 and the external devices
configuration need to be checked

Make sure the IP Address in the
device connecting to the
SmartDate X40 has a different IP
Address, but is in the same
range

Check the subnet mask and the IP addresses are
in the same range
Use a static IP address in the external device

Check the IP Gateway has been
set correctly
