Optional Diverter Roller Kits
The Markem-Imaje standard brackets are supplied with two diverting rollers. If the path
from the host machine to the bracket does not provide enough wrap of the substrate
material around the print roller, optional diverting roller kits can be used to guide the film,
making sure there is enough surface contact between the substrate and print roller.
The kit is available with single and double diverters brackets, the diverter rollers are not
included and must be ordered separately.
Print Roller Wrap-Around
Insufficient wrap-around can lead to poor drive of the print roller
• This will result in a speed mismatch and cause distorted prints and ribbon break
issues
• Position the diverting rollers to maximize the amount of wrap-around the print roller
• The minimum wrap-around is 90°
