■ Repair/Replacement Procedures
This section shows how to replace assemblies in the SmartDate X40. Generally only
photographs showing disassembly are shown, re-assembly is the reversal of the
disassembly process. The complete process is shown where re-assembly is complex or
does not follow the reversal of the disassembly.
Printhead (Intermittent)
Push the Printhead forward towards
the Peel Roller and rotate the rear of
the Printhead outwards
Swing the Printhead out from the
Printhead Module
Disconnect the Ribbon Cable from
the Printer Interface PCB
Remove the Printhead
