■ Communication Settings
To Connect the SmartDate X40 to a PC
To create a connection to the SmartDate X40, set the IP address in your computer to an
address in the same range as the SmartDate X40.
Example:
Controller IP address 10.0.0.15
Computer IP address 10.0.0.1
To view the settings on a Mono Controller, navigate to the IP Address via:
Menu > Engineering > Settings > Comms > IP address
Navigate to the Color Controller IP Address via:
Menu > Settings > Machine Settings > Comms
