■ Speed Profiles
This section explains how to capture and upload a speed profile with the SmartDate X40
Continuous.
• It is not necessary to have the Printer mounted on the host machine, but you must
have an encoder running on the film or a Print Roller
• As the SmartDate X40 can store only one speed profile in memory, you must
upload it to the computer after each capture
• You will be asked to record and send a copy of the speed profile for remote
diagnosis when escalating issues to GDS
Setting up and Running the Speed Profile (Mono Controller)
Navigate to the Speed Profiler Recorder and set the parameters as shown below.
