• The rating boxes show how close the
application is to the performance limits of
the Printer
• The ‘Speed Rating’ compares the total
cycle time of the SmartDate at the target
print speed with the total cycle time of the
SmartDate at its maximum print speed.
• The ‘Pack Rating’ compares the
substrate that will pass during the print,
with the length of the bag
• The Speed and Pack Ratings are colored
red if the performance thresholds are
close, and indicate you should seek
guidance from GDS
• Clicking the ‘Recalculate’ button will allow
changes to be made to the details of the
target application
