Notes:
Wax based ribbons are less expensive, but the ink is more easily rubbed off than
resin.
Resin based ribbons are more expensive, but the ink is less easily rubbed off
than wax.
Wax/resin is mid-range and has some of the advantages of wax i.e. less
expensive, higher line speeds and good rub resistance.
The most common grade used is 3810.
