O2 linearity test
First perform the "100 vol.% O2 calibration".
Then:
Turn the rotary knob to select the line
»linearity
test O2«
and press to confirm.
After approx. 20 seconds:
Display (example):
O2 21 vol.%
A display in the range between 18 and 24 vol.% is
correct.
If the display is outside this range, the O2 sensor is
defective or spent
(replace O2 sensor, see page 117).
Selecting anaesthetic agent
Julian automatically recognizes the anaesthetic agent
used and switches measurement and monitoring of the
anaesthetic agent concentration to the identified gas.
If »auto« is selected in the menu »anesth. agent«, the
anaesthetic agent is selected automatically.
The anaesthetic agent can also be selected manually:
Turn the rotary knob to select the column
»anaesth. agent« and press to confirm.
Under the »selection« line:
Turn the rotary knob to select »man« and press to
confirm.
Turn the rotary knob to select the line »gas« and press
to confirm.
Turn the rotary knob until the required gas appears in
the display window.
Press the rotary knob to confirm the selection.
Check that the manually selected anaesthetic agent is
compatible with the Vapor unit.
The user is responsible for manual selection of the
anaesthetic agent and for correctly filling the
anaesthetic vaporizer!
