B FTS-3 Fetal Telemetry System
B3.1 Troubleshooting
Take out the US-T
transducer, but it cannot
power on.
โ It runs out of power.
โก The base station cannot
communicate with the
transducer by RF.
โ Recharge the transducer.
โก Put it back in the docking
slot and take it up again. If
the problem persists,
restart the base station.
The wireless connection
indicator is green but the
fetal monitor shows no
signal.
โ Loose or damaged
cable to the monitor
socket
โ Tighten or repair the cable.
FHR or TOCO record
interrupts.
โ Transducer is placed
incorrectly.
โก Transducer slides.
โข The patient walks in
strong tramps.
โฃ RF interference or out
of prescriptive area.
โ Check the transducer
position.
โก Tighten the transducer and
apply little coupling gel.
โข Ask the patient to walk
slightly.
โฃ Ask the patent to walk in
the prescriptive area.
The battery icon does not
display when charging
the battery.
โ The transducer does not
connect to the charging
point tightly.
โก The base station is not
supplied by AC power.
โ Press the transducer to
touch the charging point.
โก Ensure the base station is
supplied by AC power.
The charging board or
charging point is
corrosive.
โ It is wet or polluted by
the coupling gel.
โ Clean the transducer
before charging. Replace
the charging point if
necessary.
B3.2 Blown Fuses
WARNING
Switch off the base station and remove the power cord before changing the fuse.
Replace the fuse when it is blown.
The two fuses of the base station are located on the rear panel, their specifications are:
