4.2.6 ASF
This section discribes the "ASF Unit" removal and the assembly and
disassembly of the main components comprising the ASF.
4.2.6.1 ASF Unit
1. Remove "Cover, Side, Left" (p216).
2. Remove "Cover, Side, Right" (p217).
3. Remove "Cover, Motor, PF" and disconnect the connector from the "ASF
phase sensor". (Refer to "4.2.6.4 ASF Phase Sensor" (p263).)
C A U T I O N
This section explains the working procedure using the "ASF
EXCHANGE SUPPORT TOOL". Always prepare the tool
before performing work because performing work without
the specified tool may cause damage to the printer or result
in injury.
