Check the camshaft axial shaft (1).
The prescribed value is 0.23 ± 0.1 3 mm.
Fit the nozzles (2) and tighten the fastening screws (1) to the
prescribed torque setting.
In case meshing, scratc h es or excessive oval shaping is
detected on the main journals and crankshaft bearing pins, it
is necessary to grin d the pins. Before proceeding with pin (2)
grinding, measure the shaft pins by means of a micrometer
(1) in order to establish to which diameter the pins must be
reduced.
Itis recommended to note down the values
detected in a prospect.

Undersize classes are: 0.254 - 0.508 mm.
The main jou rnals an d crankshaft bearing pins must
always be grinded to th e same undersize classes in
order not to alter the shaft’s balanc e.
