5 ERROR CODES
5.1 Error categories
Chip card errors..................................These are displayed as long as the card with the error is
inserted the reader.
EEPROM errors .................................These errors mean that operation is no longer possible
à Replace, repair.
UART errors........................................These concern communication and are displayed until a
chip card is inserted or until menu access occurs.
MDB errors ........................................These are displayed 10 seconds when they occur.
Menu errors .......................................These are displayed as long as the card with the error is
inserted the reader.
Communication errors........................These occur only if the Inkasso runs as CCI master
(protocol converter F700 - CCI).
The errors have the same meaning and number as on the Evolution coffee machine.
They can be deleted by inserting a chip card, by pressing a key, or they are automatically deleted
once communication is running again.
5.2 Error list
Error no. Text Explanation/Action
20 Communication CCI/CSI protocol: there has been no response from
the settlement device for too long; the connection may
be broken or there is connection interference.
21 Communication CCI/CSI protocol: the data has not been
communicated in the required time. The connection
may be broken or faulty.
22 Communication CCI/CSI protocol: the checksum of the data block is
invalid.
Errors 20…23 may occur if the Inkasso is running as CCI master in protocol converter mode.
23 Communication CCI/CSI protocol: An inquiry from the settlement
device was not understood 5 times in a row. Check
communication, power off.
44 E044 chipcard read CRC error in a data block.
45 E045 chipcard read CRC error main ID block.
