6.2.1. Operating Terminal3000
6.2.2. Compatibility of Terminal3000
• Notice: The Terminal2000 (used with the Franke coffee machine Saphira) does not
support the Franke coffee machine Flair. It is also not possible to retrofit the
Terminal2000.
• The Terminal3000 contains the expanded functions for programming Flair coffee
machine and also backwards compatible for Saphira coffee machine.
6.2.3. Installing Terminal3000
Connect with power supply
Connect the Terminal3000 with the
adapter supplied to the power supply
Connect the serial cable of the
Terminal3000 to the serial interface on
the back side of the coffee machine
Switching ON Terminal3000
• Notice: If the Terminal3000 has not automatically switched on after connection to the
power supply, press the ON/OFF button again. If the date is already correct on starting,
press <<ESC>> and automatically reach the main program.
• Start up:
• The front panel of the Flair must be switch OFF. (press power button 14)
• Please confirm the current date.
• Please use numerical keyboard to enter the date.
• Please press <<Enter>> after each item and press <<Enter>> again to jump from day to
month and to year.
• Please press <<Enter>> again to reach the main program.
