4.10. Coffee/hot water thermoblock
4.10.1. Mode of operation
The unit heater comprises:
- Thermoblock (TB-K/HW)
- Temperature sensor
- Thermal link
The water flowing through this block is heated to the set temperature inside the
thermoblock, and provides the water used for coffee brewing and hot water production.
4.10.2. Replacing the thermoblock
Removing the thermoblock
• CAUTION! Use the de-scaling programme to
de-scale the thermoblock! (As described in
the Operating instructions.) If no water
appears, replace thermoblock.
Unscrew screw from thermoblock base
holder (arrow)
Disconnect all cable connectors
Detach water connections
Remove complete thermoblock base holder
Unscrew screw in middle of housing and
separate thermoblock from base holder
Remove thermal link and temperature
sensor
