4.8. Pumps
4.8.1. Mode of operation
The module comprises:
- 2 pumps (coffee/hot water and steam) with thermal overload protection
- 1 membrane controller (coffee/hot water)
The pumps pump the water into the two unit heaters and provide the operating pressure
for the entire water system.
4.8.2. Replacing a pump
Removing the pump
Remove the water container and tanke
base
Press plastic clip towards the machine and
pull pump holder upwards out of the
locking device
Disconnect cable connectors as described
in Chap. 4.7.2.
Remove entire pump holder
CAUTION! Small hose o-rings could fall out!
Use pliers to pull off clamp type clips of
hose connections
Detach pressure hoses
Detach hose from pump inlet
Take pump out of rubber holder
4.8.3. Technical data
Voltage: 230 V/ (US) 120V / (JP) 100V
Principle: Oscillating anchor pump
