[Cause] An error occurred in the certificate stored in the machine.
[Remedy] Initialize the certificate.
For more information on initializing certificates, refer to "Delete All Certificates/
Initialize Settings" (P.147).

[Cause] An error occurred in the SSL client certificate.
[Remedy] Take one of the following measures:
z
Store an SSL client certificate in the machine to set the SSL
client certificate.
z
If an SSL client certificate cannot be set on the machine, select
an option other than [EAP-TLS] in [Authentication Method].

[Cause] There is a problem with the customized program registered on
the machine.
[Remedy] Modify the customized program and install it again.

[Cause] After automatically obtained the IP address, the machine failed to
retrieve proxy server settings from the DHCP server.
[Remedy] Check the followings:

The default gateway setting
z
The subnet mask setting
z
The DNS server address settings
If the error still is not resolved after checking the above settings,
there may be a network failure or a DNS server failure. Consult
your system administrator.

[Remedy] Check the followings:

The LAN cable connection
z
The IP address setting
z
The default gateway setting
z
The subnet mask setting
z
The DNS server address settings
z
The proxy server setting
If the error still is not resolved after checking the above settings, there may
be a network failure. Consult your system administrator.

[Cause] Communications with the Xerox Communication server failed.
[Remedy] Check the followings:

The IP address setting
z
The default gateway setting
z
The subnet mask setting
z
The DNS server address settings
z
The proxy server setting
z
The server verification feature of the destination server is
disabled
If the error still is not resolved after checking the above settings, there may
be a network failure. Consult your system administrator.

[Cause] The SMB host name already exists.
[Remedy] Change the host name.
Refer to "Host Name" (P.169).

[Cause] Updating of the IPv6 address and host name for the DNS server
failed.
[Remedy] Check whether the IP address of the DNS server is set correctly.
