4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
The Gantry must be powered off.
5 PREREQUISITES
• Remove the front covers (refer to Job Card PHY A044 -
Remove/Reinstall Gantry Covers on page 523).
• Raise the arm until the mounting plate of the Gas Spring
rises above the pulley of lift belt.
• Rotate the arm to about 45 degrees clockwise from verti-
cal for good access to the housing of the Gas Spring (1)
• Switch off the Gantry power.
