1 INTRODUCTION
This Job Card is intended as an aid to troubleshooting Lift movement problems, associated with the fol-
lowing Lift errors:
• 102/013 - Lift Overspeed (HALT)
• 102/014 - Lift Low Speed (WARNING)
• 102/024 - Uncontrolled Lift Motion (HALT)
1-1 FRU to Error Code Matrix
The following table generically lists the potentially faulty FRUs in order of highest to lowest probability,
depending on the Lift error raised.
Lift Error Potential Faulty
102/013 - Lift Overspeed (HALT) 1. Grease (for Lift and Rotation) (correct application of)
2. Lift Gas Spring
3. Lower Lift Screw Bearing (indication of failure can be abnormal
noise and vibration without any of the displayed errors)
4. Lift screw assembly
5. Lift motor
6. Lift board
102/014 - Lift Low Speed (WARNING)
102/024 - Uncontrolled Lift Motion (HALT)
Note 1: Only Grease for Lift and Rotation (5212483) (Orapi CT FLON 607) must ever be used on the Gantry.
Use of other types of grease are not permitted on the Gantry since they may have different characteristics than
that required.
Note 2: The Lower Lift Screw Bearing is no longer a FRU. If in the tests below you deduce the Lower Lift Screw
Bearing is faulty, change the entire Lift Screw Assembly.
Note 3: The actual FRUs to order depend on the Type of Lift Screw Assembly in the system, and the nature of
these errors. For more information to know which FRUs to take during an onsite troubleshooting visit, see section
1-3, Preparing the FRUs to take for a troubleshooting onsite visit on page 1041.
