1SUPPLIES
Replacement cables as required:
• Cable W407 for arm control keypads on the Tube Head.
• Cable W305 for arm control keypads on the Arm.
2TOOLS
None
3 REQUIRED EFFORT
Personnel: 1 Field Engineer
Time: 30 minutes
4 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
WARNING
The Gantry must be powered off.
5 PREREQUISITES
None
6 PROCEDURE
6-1 Removal and Reinstallation of Cables from the Tube Head Keypads
1. Switch off all Senographe electrical power.
2. Remove the tube head covers (see Tube Head Covers on page 529).
3. Disconnect the keypad cable from the keypad and from connector J7 or J8 on the Tilt Board PL401.
4. Remove the cable.
5. Install the replacement cable.
6. Ensure that the keypad cables are positioned as shown:
View on Tilt Board looking towards the tube.
Arm turned 90° to the right.
Cable from right keypad
connects to J7
Cable from left keypad
passes beneath the HV
cable to connect to J8
