7-4 If Stereotaxy Option Present
7-4-1 Prerequisites
The Stereotaxy option should have been installed and calibrated and plugged-in before performing these
six additional gain calibrations.
7-4-2 Calibrations
Six more calibrations are needed if the Stereotaxy option is present:
If the Stereotix option is present, perform the following steps before running the Detector Gain Calibra-
tion:
a. Plug the stereotix on the system
b. Perform an angulation to reach -15°
c. Remove the stereotix
d. Launch the first -15° gain configuration
e. Perform the exposures for -15° maps as written on the screen
f. Perform the other -15° configurations
g. Plug the stereotix on the system again
h. Perform the angulation to reach +15°
i. Remove the stereotix
j. Perform the 3 gain maps at 15°
k. When all the stereo gain maps are calibrated, move back to the 0° position.
l. It is now safe to exit the calibrations.
